Beautiful Monique Lhuiller

Wedding dress shopping was an interesting experience..........There were some high and lows and I think its true what they say, "You will know the dress." I tried my dress on and couldn't stop thinking about it. I didn't take an entourage with me just my mother and a stylist. The wedding dress hunt took place in Los Angeles at the following: Saks Fifth Avenue Bridal Boutique, Monique Lhuillier, Carolina Herrera & Oscar de la Renta. I ended up selecting a Monique Lhuiller. Shopping at Monique Lhuiller was just how I envisioned the shopping experience for that special dress to be like. The young lady helping me step into each dress was just so pleasant, the dress options were endless and standing on the pedestal and putting on the veil.............Everyone almost cried. So I implore, if you are a 'Bride to Be' definitely check out all of these fabulous bridal boutiques, but going into Monique will be an experience if not one of the best bridal experiences of your life. I came across an some interior shots of the Monique's bridal boutique in New York. Both the NYC store and the LA store are so fashionable with an understated elegance that really highlights the dresses. You won't see any images of the dress that I purchased right now in case the fiance looks at the blog before.

Please visit Monique Lhuiller to view the latest collection and to find inspiration.

Arquitectura de Interiors

Louis Bustamante

“What is perhaps most interesting about the interiors Bustamante creates, however, is that they all have a feeling of permanence from the very first moment of their creation. None of his rooms look new; rather, they seem to have evolved of their own accord.” – Helen Chislett for Style Compass, 1stdibs
Louis Bustamante is featured this month on 1stdibs Introspective Magazine.

Habitually Chic!

Habitually Chic- Of Course!
I’m disappointed in myself that I haven’t posted sooner about a new book that was recently released: Heather Clawson’s Habitually Chic: Creativity at Work. The book was released on 10.31.2012 and is a must for any design savvy, creative enthused individual’s library. I stated yesterday, I am an avid and regular reader of Heather’s Clawson’s blog and her blog happens to be one of the chicest blogs out there, Habitually Chic. Heather has been an authority on style, art and most importantly beautiful interiors and she writes about it all on her blog. The release of her new book serves as a means for inspiration, enjoyment and personal fulfillment to look into the lives and spaces of some of the most creative and successful individuals: J.Crew’s Jenna Lyons, Coach’s Jack Gerson and landscape designer Miranda Brooks. This book is an ideal Christmas gift those creative people in your life or for someone doing a little soul searching. The photographs and the interviews are meaningful and insightful.

Of Course Heather has a well decorated APT!

Emeralds Ahead!

Happen to be checking out one of my favorite lifestyle blogs, Habitually Chic, and there featured as the premier image was the book dedicated to Fornasetti. Too funny! I thought it would be appropriate to highlight since my last posting. Will have to add this book to the wish list on Amazon.com. Anyhow, Heather Clawson's post was all about Pantone's 2013 color of the year: Emerald Green. I couldn't agree with Heather more that green is certainly a stable color for any wardrobe. I couldn't help myself to a pair of emerald green Tory Burch jeans a few weeks ago. Such a chic color! I'm green with envy!

The T&C Gift Guide

This post is a follow-up post to yesterday's post about Fornasetti and his unique style and designs. I received the December issue of Town & Country, and was perusing as usual and this month's issue features none other than T&C's gift guide. All the gifts are spectacular and I found it hilarious that all the gifts are associated with various influential individuals' persona's. The fun part is deciphering which one you resonate with the most. A fun way I think to get inspiration for some unique gift giving ideas. T&C just so happened to feature a Fornasetti Burlesque Candle that author E L James would probably have sitting on her writing desk. Therefore, I wanted to point out a few websites where you can find delectable Fornasetti items to add to your own. Enjoy.
