Introduction

Dear Followers,

Welcome to Woodhouse Interiors & Designs! This blog will be used as a means for me to explore the world of interior design and other art related fields. I want this blog to reveal how I perceive design and how I go through the design process. Plus, I want this to be a tool to document how I am training my eye and how my design aesthetic will change and evolve. If you have not already read the "About Me" section you should know that I am a MFA candidate  at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Thesis work is well underway and  from time to time you will read posts concerning my thesis work and I welcome all comments and critiques.

Now for fun! Fun!?! What's Fun? Well, I love posting pictures and you are going to see a lot of random photos and I hope my photo postings keep you intrigued. I will be traveling a lot with trips to New York City, Los Angeles, San Diego and other less glamours, but equally beautiful, locals like Knoxville, Tennessee. You will read about my journeys and learn what interesting design features I've located.

This blog I hope will serve to inspire others to pursue their passions and to investigate their surrounds with a more discerning eye. I will not sugar coat my experiences so you are going to get the good and the really ugly. I hope my sincerity will serve as a means of authentic documentation at my attempt to establish myself as an Interior Designer. I might succeed I might fail. Heck! I might change my career path all together.

Finally, I've entitled my Blog Woodhouse Interiors & Designs because as clichĂ© as this will sound the title is the fictitious business name I hope to establish for myself. My full name is Leslie Woodhouse Cox. Let it not be a coincidence that my name happens to coincide with a description relating to Interior Design.

Cheers!
Leslie
