Tomorrow is Wedding Dress shopping! The initial shopping experience for this piece of fashion that every woman (I'm assuming most women) in truth dream about. It’s a big deal! It’s your wedding dress the mark that you are taking the leap into marriage, kissing singledom goodbye and starting a new chapter as Mrs. someone. And it happens all at once while wearing a wedding dress. I have no clear vision of the dress or certain styles that I like or don't like. I'm going into this with no expectations other than I know I don't want a strapless dress. I want more modesty and elegance and I feel that a strapless lacks a certain appropriateness for a church wedding. Why do you think Kate Middleton didn’t go strapless? I'm converting to Catholicism so let’s show some respect in God’s house. The one fashion accessory for this big day I do know I want is the 'veil.' Town & County Weddings just featured an article about veils and the conclusion was the tradition of wearing a veil has antiquated perceptions, but overall it is up to the individual to determine if they want to wear a veil. And look, these ladies all look ravishing in their wedding dresses and veils to boot! The veil completes the look and the enduring vision of a beautiful bride. And so, a cathedral veil is a must!

Ok, yes I ended this post with Saved By the Bell's Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) and Kelly Kopowski (Tiffani Amber Thiessen) they got hitched in Vegas during the show's 1994 series finale. The bride wore a short-sleeve design with a beaded bodice and topped off her brunet bob with a veil. I love the 90s.
